No Gods Above the Sand: Episode 01 begins in a world where the heat never lets up, water is controlled like currency, and most people have learned not to ask what is buried beneath the ruins. A young survivor is pulled into the path of a hardened Huntress who has spent years moving through the wasteland, killing the things that crawl out of it and staying alive long enough to know that something about their world does not add up.
Their journey leads through desperate settlements, scarred walls, guarded reservoirs, and people who have learned to survive in very different ways. Along the way, the Huntress gathers an unlikely group around her: a massive Tank, an old Soldier, a Healer, a dangerously enthusiastic Chemist, and a teenage Apprentice who is learning very quickly that survival and heroism are not the same thing. What starts as another trip through the sands becomes a search for answers about the monsters, the people in power, and the systems keeping everyone desperate.
By the end of Episode 01, the story has moved far beyond hunting creatures for coin. Strange technology, hidden structures, and clues buried beneath the desert begin to crack open everything the characters thought they understood about their world. Across eight tracks mixing progressive metal, metalcore, and industrial metal, Episode 01 sets the pieces in motion for a much larger story about scarcity, power, survival, and what happens when the people living beneath the machine finally start looking inside it.
