As of right now, I’m 50,000 words into the novel. The writing process has been interesting. The album came first. Four years ago, I was writing new songs that I could pitch to my bandmates. I was the rhythm guitar player, and probably the least talented among them, with the least amount of band experience. And there I was, pitching lyrics about a giant monster bowl of potato salad.

Would you believe they didn’t want to do it? Crazy, right?

Well, AI vocals happened, and bam, it was time to take all this guitar and all these crazy words and make something amazing.

Okay… what happens next? Odin, then… and then… and…

The album is done. The story is baked, and I’m publishing my first finished work.

But the story kept growing in my head. I can’t stop it.

The world has grown beyond anything I ever intended. Characters, settings, and fight scenes that I absolutely love. My own limitations are actually helping me write the novel, but that’s a story for another time.
